Colombia’s energy and mining sector developments in recent years have sparked the interest of the industry worldwide. Projects in all types of clean energies are under development, such as: solar, wind, geothermal, biomass, and more recently supporting hydrogen production

A plan to boost the efficiency of its current oil and gas assets, with a heavy focus on natural gas, has reassured upstream activity, and sustainable, formalized mining will continue to attract gold, copper, phosphate, among other minerals, investors.

Legal reforms in the country are also supporting these determined steps towards a net-zero Colombia by 2050, opening the road for energy and mining players and investors to take advantage of the country’s immense potential, which is expected to lead the region's energy transition.
